I try to keep counseling accessible and the business side of things easy to understand. Here's how I charge and what to expect.
Individual session
$35 / hour
Sessions are typically held weekly or biweekly, in person at my Westerville office.
Cancellation policy
Life happens - please give me as much notice as you can if you need to reschedule. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice and no-shows are charged a flat $35 fee. Whenever possible, I'll try to reschedule you within the same week instead.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of service. I currently operate as a private-pay practice and am not in-network with insurance, which allows me to keep sessions focused on your goals rather than insurance requirements.
Good Faith Estimate
Under the federal No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
- You have the right to a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency services, including counseling.
- Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your service.
- If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
- Keep a copy of your Good Faith Estimate in a safe place.
